Feb 10, 2015 Trying to find out how to copy/paste one or several calendar events in Outlook. These are not regularly recurring events. I can do it on iCal and expected to be able to do it on outlook, but ctrl+c/ctrl-v do not work. Ctrl-drag looks as if it would work but it does not either. Your colleague can now see your calendar in the message and can open the attached iCalendar (.ics) file in Outlook or another calendar program. Outlook opens an iCalendar file as a new calendar, which you can then view side-by-side with your calendar.
Not as such, but I'm using next workaround for non recurring events (it looks complicated, but try it out, it works quite fine):. Set the event to be repeated e.g. Every Day. Go to the repeated event on the day you need it and set the Repeat back to None and hit the Done button. Then change the time or add a note, if needed. When closing the event, a pop-up message appears telling This is a repeating event and prompting you eighter to Save For Future Events or to Cancel. Choose Save For Future Events.
Result: you have the event copied. Now, go back to the original event and turn the Repeat function back to None. Result: The original event is not recurring any more. Note: You can use the same trick to Copy recurrent events as well. But then, in step 5, you need to go to the next to last of your wanted recurring events and delete it. Choose Delete All Future Events.
I am able to easily move all my Mail and Contacts to a new folder but how can I do the same for my Calendar Appointments and Meetings? The Day/Week/Month view of the Calendar folder indeed makes it impossible to move or copy all your Calendar items at once. By switching your Calendar view to a list view, you can move your Calendar items in the same way as that you do for your emails like for instance Drag & Drop, the Move command in the Ribbon or the right click menu (which both also hold the “Copy to folder” command) or the CTRL+A/C/X/V keyboard shortcuts.
